The challenges of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been a hot topic, and for good reason. IT decision-makers are eager to understand it. In the most recent Reseller Census, conducted by IT Data for ABRADISTI among 1,460 ICT resellers, we found that the solution is also what resellers see as the greatest growth opportunity in the coming years.
In the census, 39% of resellers stated that they do not currently sell any AI products. However, those who do sell AI solutions are primarily focused on information security, followed by chatbots and e-commerce.
IT Data has identified a growing trend among medium and large enterprises to adopt AI for applications in information security, planning, and logistics over the next 12 months.
Although interest in AI has grown significantly in recent years, especially since 2023, developers are still working to find ways to integrate the technology into their products and services in a way that is both appealing to consumers and economically viable.
As a result, the market is still evolving, with companies exploring various approaches to AI integration. It is a maturity level where players are seeking to create solutions that utilize AI or to add it to some products in their portfolios. There is no clear model that suppliers can follow or key AI application that will demonstrably find strong and consistent demand in the consumer market.
