WHY DID ABRADISTI INCORPORATED THE “C” FROM TIC IN THE STUDIES COMPLETED THIS YEAR?

Abradisti started to consider from a broader perspective the Communication and Information Technology (TIC-Tecnologia da informação e Comunicação) area in their studies presented in 2021. We notice and understand the importance to include the “C” into our analysis due to two main reasons.

First, because our associates already sell products related to communications. When we analyze de IT distributors, most of them already offer mobile solutions, from tablet to cellular.

Second, if we don´t include the “C”, a Abradisti would be isolated. We have updated and expanded our vision inside the TIC market, where the “C” occupies a prominent place. We identified in our sectorial study that in 2011 10.6 million smartphones were sold in the country. In 2020, we reached 42.7 million units.

The “C” goes beyond communication, it related to connectivity. Important to highlight that this integration of technology and communication is becoming even more relevant. It has become more accessible to own a smart TV that connects with the watch, the cellular phone, and PC.

It is visible that renowned brand noticed this early enough and acted on the multiple connectivity. They turned them into reality. This took distributors to assisttheir clients and resellers who quickly deliver to customers. This path is inevitable, the tendency ever more present in everyday life.
