January revenues show sustainable growth of PIM

The Manaus Industrial Hub (PIM) started 2025 with excellent results. According to the most recent data from Suframa, revenue in January reached BRL17.85 billion, a growth of 14.54% compared to the same period in 2024, when it registered BRL15.58 billion.

The performance reinforces the good prospects for the year, supported by the historic revenue record achieved in 2024. From January to December last year, the PIM totaled BRL204.39 billion, an increase of 16.24% compared to 2023. In dollars, global revenue was US$37.51 billion, an increase of 6.36%.

One of the main factors responsible for this performance is the electronics sector, which had a turnover of BRL36.84 billion in 2024, growing 11.71%. Data celebrated by the CEO of Eletros, Jorge Júnior, during a visit to Suframa, last February, showed a 29% increase in the sector’s production, reaching 118 million units. Growth was driven by demand for televisions and air conditioners.

The production of air conditioners in Brazil reached 5.9 million units, an increase of 38% compared to 2023, driven by high temperatures. In the television market, 13.5 million units were produced and sold, a growth of 22%, marking a historic record. The results demonstrate the resilience and competitiveness of the Manaus Industrial Hub, consolidating its fundamental role in the Brazilian economy.
