A future of opportunities and challenges

José Jorge do Nascimento Jr.
Executive President of the National Association of Manufacturers of Electronic Products (ELETROS)

We entered the second half of 2025 maintaining a good pace of growth in electronics sales, which remain high even after last year’s record performance. The data indicate that there is still ample room for expansion in all segments. To sustain this progress, it is essential to pay attention to the economic scenario, especially the Selic rate, which impacts the cost of credit and influences consumer behavior in the acquisition of durable goods.

Despite the challenging environment, we remain confident in the capacity of the electronics sector to drive consumption and generate significant results, especially in the second half of the year, historically marked by dates with strong commercial appeal, such as Black Friday and the end-of-year holidays.

Eletros has maintained ongoing dialogue with the Public Authorities for a development agenda that combines fiscal responsibility, encouragement of productive investment, reduction of interest rates, and conditions that promote access to more modern, efficient, and affordable products.

Keeping the sector active is essential for economic growth and for improving the population’s quality of life.

Overcoming these obstacles is essential to expand the sector’s competitiveness and consolidate Brazil as a global leader in the electronics industry.
