PARTNERSHIPS ACHIEVED X THE AWARENESS CHALLENGE

There are many challenges in this first year of implementation of the reverse logistics actions needed to reach the Federal Decree 10.240/20. We work with two fronts to reach our goals: municipalities agreements are the first, and the second, our retail partnerships, which is the most sought out channel to reach the consumer. We are the representative entity that manages the system, acting in all electronics and home appliance lines.
Amongst the results, we highlight the Terms of Cooperation signed with Campo Grande (MS), Florianópolis (SC) and Vitória (ES), that aims to give the environmentally correct destination to all products received in these state capitals.
We announced the biggest activation of collecting points for all types and products sizes, from the headset to refrigerators: the partnership between ABREE and Magalu. By the end of the year, we will open another 500 collecting points electronics and home appliances inside Magalu branches.
We did notice the preoccupation with sustainability, but there is still a challenge on making the population aware of their role, as it is the consumer who starts the process with the delivery of the post-consumer product at the collection point, which contributes to its correct disposal.
Therefore, we see our associates, retailers and municipalities partners engaged with the creation of a sustainable reverse logistic ecosystem in Brazil! We count on more partners in this journey!
