Human capital at the core of IT

President at Brazilian Association of Information Technology Distribution (Abradisti)
The 13th Abradisti Census, the most comprehensive study on IT channels in Brazil, brings positive news and even better prospects for resellers. With a 6.8% increase in revenue in 2023, the index is projected to reach 13.6% this year, according to data compiled by IT Data.
Currently, products are accessible through the web or mobile devices. Many items have become virtualized – reminiscing about when MS Office used to come in a box with floppy disks or CDs, just as many servers and storage devices are now “accounts” in the cloud.
Other boxes have been embedded in service contracts, such as Wi-Fi routers. Therefore, results achieved through various channels, from bulk to high-ticket personalized sales, reflect a significant ability to understand and innovatively respond to market and customer transformations.
As a result, more sophisticated demands arise. Even in the online store segment, without face-to-face interaction, “personality” makes all the difference. End-to-end competence – assortment and pricing, ease, and transparency in purchasing, and excellent post-sale support – defines the customer experience and channel performance.
The Census confirms that challenges go beyond delivery and pricing, which remain mandatory. Developing people who contribute to customers using technology in the most efficient and secure manner is the path that Census numbers indicate.
