PIM reaffirms strategic position in the national production chain

Driven by the performance of the Electronics segment, the Manaus Industrial Hub (PIM), one of the largest manufacturing centers in Latin America, increasingly According to data released by Suframa, the industrial complex showed consistent signs of expansion and strengthening in the first quarter of 2025.
PIM’s revenue reached R$ 55.66 billion in the first three months of the year, representing growth of 15.61% compared to the same period in 2024. The dynamism of the hub was also reflected in job creation, which reached 128,645 workers in March 2025, including permanent, temporary, and outsourced staff — an increase of 8.39% compared to the same month the previous year.
The Electronics segment accounted for approximately 15.32% of PIM’s total revenue in the first quarter and maintained its expansion pace, with emphasis on the manufacturing of high-tech and innovative products – including televisions with LCD and OLED screens, LCD monitors for computing, and tablets.
These results reinforce the vitality of the Manaus Industrial Hub and allow for positive projections for the rest of the year. The strong performance of the Manaus Free Trade Zone has contributed to boosting Brazilian industry through the promotion of technology, innovation, and the distribution of high value-added products, attracting investments and generating jobs at the regional level, further strengthening the socioeconomic development of Western Amazon and Amapá.
