Held from April 8 to 10 in São Paulo, the IV World Plastic Connection Summit® 2025 was consolidated as the main internationalization event of the transformed plastics industry in Latin America. This year’s edition recorded US$ 7.6 million in closed deals and an expectation of US$ 46.9 million for the next 12 months.
Organized by Think Plastic Brazil, a portfolio of solutions for the transformed plastic products sector in the internationalization process for target markets, and carried out through a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and the INP (National Plastics Institute), the event brought together more than 1,100 in-person participants and attracted online access from 127 countries. The program featured strategic lectures, business rounds, and the launch of publications such as the International Yearbook 2025, Color Trend® 2026 (curated by Marcelo Rosenbaum), and the new Internationalization Guide, in partnership with Drummond Advisors.
The export clinics provided business support meetings, with partners such as ApexBrasil and BNDES. With 33 buyers from 14 countries and international journalists from five nations, the event served as a showcase for the sector and a catalyst for changes in mindset, highlighting the strength of international engagement.
