PIM: HISTORICAL INDICATORS AND PRODUCTIVITY

The year 2021 brought historical indicators of revenue and productivity for the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM). It also brought positive results in several other areas of operation of the Superintendence of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (Suframa).
These achievements took place even in a period of restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and, given the resilience and strength shown by the Manaus Free Trade Zone, they now make it possible to build very favorable projections and scenarios for this new season that begins.
One of Suframa’s priorities for 2022 is to continue to generate synergies and the expansion of articulation and integration with various organs and partner entities of organized civil society. The objective is, mainly, to jointly enhance the various institutional capacities and enable the execution of projects and actions that effectively promote the development of the entire area of activity of the autarchy (States of Amazonas, Acre, Rondônia and Roraima and municipalities of Macapá and Santana, in Amapá).
At this moment in which it completes 55 years of existence, the Manaus Free Trade Zone must not only gain more strength in its current expertise, but also seek ways to diversify the region’s economy and foster capabilities directly aligned with Amazonian vocations. In short, it is with this thought in mind that Suframa begins 2022: total focus on the socioeconomic and sustainable development of the region and improving the quality of life of the millions of Amazonians who inhabit it.
