Think Plastic Brazil’s achievements in 2024

The Yearbook 2025, a yearbook launched at the IV World Plastic Connection Summit®, which brings together companies in the processed plastics sector, highlights the progress made by Think Plastic Brazil in 2024. The target of 186 companies served was exceeded by 3.76%, reaching 193. There were 54 new members, 58.82% above the target. Of the companies served, 157 are exporters, exceeding the target of 140 by 12.14%.
Export destinations increased from 102 to 116 (+13.73%). The number of exported products increased by 140.52%, consolidating the diversification of the export agenda. America accounted for 92.90% of the market, with a 4.10% increase in export value. Europe and Africa grew by 4.48% and 1.08%, respectively, with increases of 6.04% and 5.26%.
Among the main destinations, Argentina led (27.85% of the total), with US$ 140.57 million (+3.86%). The United States grew 5.53%, reaching US$63.23 million. Uruguay and Chile advanced 4.05% and 5.34%, while Paraguay saw a slight drop of 1.31%. Spain recorded the highest growth among the main markets (+1.42%), reaching US$13.73 million.
These results demonstrate the strength of the sector in Brazilian foreign trade and the effectiveness of Think Plastic Brazil’s internationalization strategies, highlighting our production on a global level.
